I am delighted by the versatility of this tidy kit of watercolor leads and the beautiful wood mechanical pencil. They are a permanent part of my travel art-making kit and allow my to put down a few water-soluble marks for later play with the paintbrush. Quick trail-side sketches I can paint-in more thoroughly at camp. The include colors are vast and cover primaries and split-primaries well. Maybe the addition or a swap for a magenta would be nice for a little extra mixing range. Otherwise I would not change a thing and excited to see how they perform in the winter and other travels where I want the flexibility to sketch and doodle on-the-fly and bring in the water at a more convenient time.
